EA Hotel New Town

Pros: Solid hotel, small choice of breakfast, clean rooms.

Cons: Rooms are cold and u can’t put the conditioning to be on much higher temperature.

Pros: Good day, Another visit to the hotel left a pleasant impression! Everything was excellent. I'd especially like to mention the breakfast staff. Unfortunately, I didn't remember their names, but I think they were Alena (they were mother and daughter). They create a homely atmosphere!!!

Pros: Comfy beds. Clean sheets and a room in general. Everything looks as in pictures. Kind receptionist. Good location very close to the train station and not far from the old town either. Breakfasts were all right too. We stayed fpr two nights and each morning they were slightly different, so it's also a good thing the hotel takes care so that they are not that monotonous. Also, it was not a problem to get wine glasses from the lobby and get our shop-bought bottle of wine opened late at night (over midnight) - thank you, mr receptionist. And finally BIG plus for a possibility to check in earlier. I sent a question about that right after I made a booking and the answer was to check it upon arrival. And when I did, the staff didn't forget about that and managed to get the room ready 3h before standard check in. I appreciate it a lot!

Cons: Only one thing. Only a lady in the breakfast area on Sunday in my view was not very nice. We told her about a broken glass on the floor, (she could have not noticed it), just with the intention to get her attention so that she could just clean it up. The glass stayed scattered till we left about past 10.30. And regarding that 10.30. The breakfasts are till 10.30 on weekends. It's not that we came at 10.25 - we were about 9.50 and finished eating around 10.35. However, exactly at 10.30 the counter lady turned off all of the lights in the breakfast area. To be honest that was pretty rude. We felt unwanted and left. We were about to finish in like 5 minutes anyway, but it's more about the attitude and overall impression. I would rather expect that you take away the food (kitchen closed at 10.30) or maybe come and talk to people, asking to finish the meals as it is already past time instead of making these kind of acts. At the same time, on Monday the breakfast staff was super great, so I wouldn't like to judge all by only one person's behavior. Anyway, I just wanted to point it out, since it was something that kinda hit us a bit.

A good hotel not far from the center Prague

Pros: I have stayed at this hotel three or four times, and everything was fine. We were checked in earlier than planned, the room was tidy and clean, and we had no complaints about the shower room. The room had a TV with YouTube and internet access. We tried the breakfast for the first time and liked it. We were also allowed to leave our luggage at the hotel after check-out, which was convenient. Many thanks to the staff for this, who were kind and friendly. Close to the city center and shops, the hotel has an elevator, and the lobby is quite quiet and peaceful. Our windows faced the road, but everything was quite quiet.

Cons: Only three things spoiled our impression: The chair in our room had stains on it, which were probably impossible to wash out and had been spilled on. It wasn't very pleasant to see or sit on. Some of the walls in the room had gray or black scuffs and scratches that clearly stood out and differed from the color of the wall. The pillows in the room were uncomfortable and completely flat; perhaps they are quite old and need to be replaced, BUT the bedding was clean and fresh. We wouldn't say these are flaws of the place, but rather things that spoil the impression and can be fixed.

Modern city hotel in old building and a fabulous breakfast buffet

Pros: Hotel is in good location, close to metro and tram station and within a walking distance to the old city centre. Well maintaned building and very comfortable rooms, without any noise from the road below. The buffet breakfast was really exeptional, very diverse and tasty. We belive that this is one of the best choices for that price range in Prague. If they still could improve check-in process for car access travellers they deserved grade 10. For our next visit of Prague we will definitely return.

Cons: The only small problem is, if we arrive by car. It is very hard to park for the luggage drop off and check-in near this hotel. But this is an overall problem for the most of low- and mid-budget Prague hotels. They actually offer parking garage but is located in hotel EA Crystal Palace, of the same hotelchain, 5 min walk away. As the guests who booked the parking in advance it could be much easier for us, if we can go directly there to park the car first and return afterthat, to finalize the check-in process.

Pros: 15 min away from the riverfront.Good breakfast. Good heating system. Good bed and shower.

Cons: No living room. Broken table in the room. Stained carpet in the corridor.

Pros: I liked the location, and the room is perfectly fine.

Cons: Breakfast had plenty of options, but I feel like the quality wasn't the best.

A very comfortable place to spend a few nights

Pros: Super comfortable bed, good pillows, well heated room, excellent bathroom, excellent standard of cleanliness. So really everything important is catered for, and we were very satisfied with our choice of hotel.

Cons: Rather off-hand, uninterested customer-facing staff. Not so much as a smile from receptionist on arrival. However, the housekeeping staff did an excellent job behind the scenes. We took a look at the very depressing breakfast buffet and ate elsewhere so not a problem.

Overall, it was worth the money, and we were really happy with our stay.

Pros: The location was honestly the best part - super convenient for everything. The place was also very clean, and the beds were really comfortable. Overall, it was a great stay.

Cons: What I didn’t like about the property was that the rooms were cold.
