The Golden Wheel Hotel

Pros: A great clean and comfortable room with beautiful ceiling details. The stuff was very friendly. The breakfast was changing every day, great variety and amount. The location is great as well. Would for sure recommend this hotel to everyone.

Its worth it

Pros: Very polite staff, the woman in charge of the kitchen is great, fresh food every morning, clean, polite, super simple. Located in a quiet area where nothing disturbs your sleep at night, but still very close to the center. The rooms themselves are clean, comfortable, and match what is shown in the pictures.

Cons: When first turned on, hot water in the shower may take a long time to heat up. The man at the reception desk after 11 p.m. doesn't seem to notice you, no hello, no goodbye. A stark contrast to the women at the reception desk during the day.

Highly recommend the Golden Wheel Hotel, especially at this time of year when Prague is so crowded

Pros: We were very happy with the location, away from the noise and crowds of the old town There was a wide variety of choice at breakfast The staff was friendly and efficient

Cons: The bed pillow was awful, gave me pain in the neck. The room had a strange smell but it went when we opened the window.

Pros: Absolutely loved the history behind the hotel, loved the location, breakfast was delicious and spoilt for choice! Staff were super friendly and helpful. The ceiling artwork was amazing and very inspiring!

Cons: Larger towels (just being picky) and a double duvet required for a double bed.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Very reasonably priced. Clean and comfortable. Good location as not too busy- short walk 5-10 minutes to Charles Bridge

Cons: We were on the top floor and had a pram. You needed to get 2 lifts to the top. Not a problem if you’re ok with stairs.

Excellent place to stay when in Prague

Pros: The location is close to a lot of the sites (walking distance to most of them). There are a lot of pretty shops around. The personnel were welcoming and nice. The breakfast was delicious and had a wide range of food. The rooms were clean and spacious. When we return to Prague we'll make sure to book rooms here.

Cons: There's nothing we didn't like.

Pros: We had a very pleasant stay at the Golden Wheel Hotel. The location is excellent – everything is within walking distance, and St. Vitus Cathedral is just a short walk away. The hotel itself has a charming layout with cozy corners and small passages, which made it feel private and peaceful. We hardly noticed other guests during our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We are especially grateful for the possibility of early check-in – traveling with a child, this was a great convenience. Breakfast was tasty and had everything we needed, even if the selection was not as large as in some bigger hotels. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return.

Cons: The only small challenge was during peak time, when it could be difficult to find a free table and some items ran out quickly. Perhaps adding a few more tables or refilling food a bit faster could make mornings even more comfortable.

Pros: Location was amazing, castle and town all easily walkable. Access from the airport was super easy. Room was fantastic and very comfortable.

Cons: Lift was out of action so depending on your fitness and room location that could make particularly luggage transfer difficult. Staff offered a discount as compensation but only on future bookings.

Great location and conforness.

Pros: The reformed bedroom, balcony, full breakfast and nice client service.

Cons: The stairs to get I to the room. Too many

Cute hotel and surroundings

Pros: Beautiful old building and nice quiet room in the attick above the coblestone street.

Cons: The room was very hot due to hot weather and the lack of aircon. Breakfast was a bit basic.
