Bishop's House

Renovated in 2015, Bishop's House is a design hotel in the heart of the historical centre of Prague, only 60 metres from Charles Bridge and the Vltava river and a 10-minute walk from Prague Castle. It offers free WiFi in the entire hotel. The main hotel building dates back to the 16th century and has an empire façade from 1843. Guests can also choose accommodation in a Gothic tower which was a former official seat of the bishop, first mentioned in the 13th century. All rooms are air-conditioned. The top-floor tower rooms feature beautiful ceilings, reminiscent of the long history of the house. Please note that some rooms are accessible only by stairs. When booking 9 or more people or 4 or more rooms for the same date, through one or more bookings, the hotel may apply different payment and cancellation policies. Pros: The breakfast was very good and varied. The location was excellent, close to points of interest, and at the same time we enjoyed complete quiet in the room. The staff were extremely attentive and helpful—they assisted us in ordering a taxi so we wouldn’t miss (due to our flight delay) the Vltava river cruise we had booked.

Great base, great location, comfortable stay – would happily come back.

Pros: Great location, easy to walk everywhere. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well presented, with a lovely light feel to it. Beds were very comfortable and everything we needed for a short stay was provided. Quiet at night despite being central, which made a big difference.

Cons: Not a lot to complain about. Maybe slightly clearer check-in info would help, but it didn’t take away from the stay.

Lovely central location, would recommend!

Pros: The location is very central, close to Charles Bridge; during our stay, we didn't even take public transport, as all of the main attractions were so close to our hotel. The breakfast was pretty good, the variety was decent, having quite a lot of options to choose from, and as for taste, it was also quite good. The room was nice, reasonably clean, the bed was confortable, and the staff was absolutely incredible, very friendly and very helpful. We arrived very late at night, at around 11 PM, so it was great that their reception is open 24/7.

Cons: It wasn't a huge problem, as we were provided with blankets, but the room was a little bit cold at times.

Pros: We had a very pleasant stay. The room was spacious, quiet, clean, and warm, with towels changed daily. Breakfast was very satisfying. The hotel’s location is excellent, just a few meters from Charles Bridge. If we visit Prague again, we would definitely stay at the same hotel.
