Hotel Praga 1885 by Wagnerstays

Pros: Good price , out of town , comfortable , staff were helpful , right by a tram stop

Cons: Rooms by the road were a bit noisy whilst trams were running

A very charming hotel

Pros: Very kind and helpful staff. Nice big bed! Room tastefully decorated. Close proximity to Anděl.

Cons: The pillows are huge and rather uncomfortable. Unfortunately, they had no others in the hotel. Maybe you can get a few normal sized ones? My window faced the terrace. According to the house rules, smoking is not allowed, but everyone goes out there to smoke. Some of it travels up to the room. There is also supposed to be quiet from 10pm to 6am. Many of those smokers were horribly loud and inconsiderate, also in the hallway. The hotel uses a key card system to power the room, which actuvates a transformer, which often makes a lot of noise (a humming noise). The fridge is turned off if that key card is not in place, which renders the fridge kind of useless. I had to store food on the outside ledge of the window. This would definitely be an issue in summer.

Pros: The hotel is located close to the metro and it’s easy to get to the city center. The hotel is pleasant, with good renovations. The breakfasts are standard, but they were slightly different each day, so it wasn’t exactly the same every morning. The staff is very friendly, and overall there were no issues with the stay.

Cons: The hairdryer is very weak and there are no disposable slippers.

Good value for money

Pros: Good location, affordability, well-maintained rooms in old building, high ceilings, comfortable bed

Cons: very poor wifi hence slow connectivity, also rooms a bit dark

Pros: The location of the property is good and safe. Also, our room was very clean

Cons: The only thing as a minus was that the heater was not turned on when we arrived and it was pretty cold. However, the staff told us how to turn it on and all was well

Good value for money

Pros: Great location. A big commercial center is nearby, lots of tram stations. The staff is nice and polite. The rooms are pretty clean. What's most important - it's very warm inside.

Cons: Luck of light in rooms. It's too dark and there's nothing you can do with it.

Cons: Drain in the shower wasn't very good and kept flooding. Could do with a big long mirror in bedroom. Hairdryer in bedroom instead of bathroom

Good location out of the touristic area

Pros: Breakfast is correct and the location is great, there is a tram nearby and a tube station, even walking you are in the center in no time.
