Hotel Energie

A great location for accessing the city centre, and great value for money

Pros: I have stayed here before and will again, the staff are very friendly… and very willing to help

Cons: There were no negatives

Pros: It is clean, and the staff were helpful and nice! Transportation is nearby and in 15mins ur already in the city center.

Pros: Close to the tram station, about 200 m from the Hotel. This is the second time we come to Prague and stay at the same hotel. Good breakfast. The room was ok. The hotel has its own parking lot and it is included in the accommodation price.

Cons: The windows are a bit old and are a bit hard to close.

Good value for money.

Pros: Very nice room with a mini fridge, very clean, a nice budget hotel.

Cons: Difficult to access using public transport as I had to walk along a narrow path next to a very busy, fast road to get there.

Pros: The breakfast offerings are very nice The views from floor 5 are pleasant The hotel is conveniently within 5 minutes walking from the tram line to go into the city centre.

Cons: The front desk only gave the 4 of us 2 key cards, which complicated things at times. The room only had 4 clothing hangers while we could have used 10 or more. Hooks and shelves on the bedroom walls also would have made clothing storage more convenient. A pool or fitness room would have been nice Other guests sit around smoking cigarettes right outside the lobby doors, so avoiding second-hand, carcinogenic smoke is impossible while entering and exiting the building. Meanwhile the ashtrays could be located anywhere else along the very long entry balcony.

Our experience at the Hotel

Pros: The staff it was friendly and the rooms were pretty clean.

Cons: The location, we didn't arrive by car so 90% of the time we had to call an Uber. But there were planes flying which was pretty cool overall good experience just maybe next time we'll arrive by car.

Nice one night stay

Pros: It is the first time we used this place and it was OK - we stayed just one night. The staff was friendly. You can see the hotel could use a little renovation work, but there is nothing to really complain about except maybe that opening windows was really hard to get done. The location is OK, there are 2 tram stations at the same distance, but make sure you use Motol station and not Krematorium Motol. You're in the Prague center in approx. 25 minutes from the station. The room was nice and clean, the bathroom was renovated and clean but there could be more shower gel. There is a little fridge in the room also. We could park in front of the hotel for free, there was a security guard near the hotel. Not sure if he was there all night ;) The self service breakfast was basic but it was good.

Cons: No air conditioning

Perfect for a short stay with car close by airport.

Pros: We've chosen the hotel based on location close to the airport with free parking even for LPG car. Room was clean with basic facilities - all you need for a single night stay.

Cons: Prague airport reconstructs their main runway and therefore all planes were using the secondary runway. All incoming planes were approaching the runway right above the hotel in a quite low altitude. Pros - nice view on their belly and landing gears, Cons - a bit of noise.

Pros: Beakfast options could be improved, like some fruites and omlette.

Cons: Location was a bit far from the centre, but a direct tram connection is there to reached to city centre. But best option, if you are traveling via car, hotel has a big private car parking option.
