Occidental Praha is located on the Na Strži near Prague's biggest shopping malls, only 15 minutes by metro from the Old Town and 5 minutes from popular sport and leisure area Zlute Lazne. It offers free WiFi in the entire property. The house was renovated in 2016. All air-conditioned rooms provide a flat-screen satellite TV, WiFi, a coffee and tea making facilities, a hairdryer, a work desk and a safe. Very good value for the money

Pros: Nice clean hotel. I got the executive room, it was very comfortable and pretty well equipped, except for a things I’ll explain in that section. Instant coffee, Tee and kettle are a blessing. Bed and pillows were super comfortable.

Cons: There’s no sanitary bag in the toilet, no tissues in the bathroom. The hangers for towels are not in the shower cabin but in the toilet, this makes no sense at all. Breakfast had a good selection, but scrambled eggs did not taste good, quality of sausages, bacon, and coffee was horrible. Still you could find lots of delicious food to satisfy your stomach.

What the hotel can improve is not difficult, if they solve these, it will be perfect.

Pros: Breakfast is plentiful and varied. Room well equipped modern.

Cons: It has an underground garage, outdoor parking, none of it is crowded, it's not a citycenter hotel, so I don't understand why you have to pay 20€/day. But it's not even guarded. The staff's English communication and kindness are not adequate.

Cons: Problem with toilet light that did not switch off and stayed on all night being Sunday night no one to repair it

Great accommodation with breakfast

Pros: Clean, comfy, quiet and modern! - Very comfortable bed - Great heating and lighting - Tasty breakfast with many options

Cons: - The shower head had a very low pressure - impossible to shower other than having a bath. - Air ventilation did not work. - Hair drier was too weak, had to dry my hair above the radiator.

Pros: Breakfast was great. Location exactly as needed for my businesses trip. Room was bright which made it look bigger. Will be my choice when I come for the same purpose again.

Excellent hotel for its price range.

Pros: The hotel is clean and well-maintained. The staff is efficient and smiling. The room was of reasonable size, the bed was comfortable and the shower had good water pressure. The breakfast is of good quality with wide variety of choices (buffet style). WiFi is fast and stable. Price is very reasonable for the quality you get.

Cons: These are mainly small things, but they need to be reported: 1. The location is at Prague 4, quite far from the main city attractions. Yet, the public transportation links to the hotel are close and good. You will get from the hotel to the city centre in roughly 25-30 minutes with bus or metro. 2. The towels in the room were of low quality and at bad state. Small thing that a high quality hotel can surely fix. 3. Breakfast can be crowded during the peak hours. Not terrible, but also a bit overwhelming. If you don't like large crowds come as early as possible (7 am when they open the dining hall) or wait until 9 am when the crowds were fed and gone...

I would definitely recommend the hotel.

Pros: The breakfast was excellent. Very good coffee, wide choice of dishes and pastries. The room was spacious and cozy. The bathroom was wheelchair accessible and comfortable. The hotel is very well connected to the highway.

Cons: Parking places are somewhat limited. The mattress could be firmer, but that is also a personal preference. During our short stay we did not even bother asking for options.
