Hostel Mikoláše Alše

Exceptional hostel. I stayed for the darts tournament but had 4 days of sightseeing. All is on the door step .

Pros: Location is perfect. Clean , all facilities you would need . Reception staff were excellent

Well equipped campus room in a safe area

Pros: It's actually a campus for university students. A campus room with fridge and a kettle is to be expected. Location near Letna is convenient and safe. The elderly lady at the reception was super nice.

Cons: It is a campus room, so the comfort is limited.

A good base for a single traveller, or friends.

Pros: It's a Hostel but I did have a private room with shared bathroom. It was airy with a high ceiling. Comfortable! Breakfast was cold buffet, nice coffee too!!

Cons: Beds were cut down bunk beds, room was spartan but that was good for the price!

Will definitely come back next time I’m in Prague.

Pros: The location was just perfect. There are trams that take you to the old town or Prague’s old Castle within minutes, just a step away from the Hostel or you can walk down through the nearby park. The lady at the reception was very friendly and kind, always greeted us with a smile.

Cons: Though the room itself was clean and bedsheets nice and clean too with comfortable beds, the carpet was kind of dirty.

I would happily stay again

Pros: In a nice neighbourhood a little bit outside the centre. The room was clean, spacious and the staff were helpful.

Amazing place

Pros: Absolutely loved this hostel! The check-in process was smooth and easy. It's located on a lively and safe street, full of color and character. There are plenty of international restaurants, wine bars, and cozy cafés all around—something for every taste. The location is perfect for both relaxing and exploring the city. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting!

Friendly, cozy hostel

Pros: We especially liked the location of the hostel as it is a very calm neighborhood compared to the centre of Prague. The receptionist was super friendly and helped us out with everything we needed.

The location is not ideal, but still perfectly accessible with public transports, you get the BEST value for money!

Pros: Clean, spacious, cheap, near a tram station (200m)

Cons: A bit further from the center, but still totally accessible with the numerous trams or through the park

Pros: The hotel was good, bed linen, a bar of soap and two towels were provided for us.

Cons: In the kitchen there was an old dish sponge and empty washing up liquid, and a teapot with lime. We asked the receptionist for a vacuum cleaner for the vacuum bags, but she told us that they don't have one, and there was the sound of a vacuum cleaner when we left :)

all good, will come back :)

Pros: wonderfull but short stay, the rooms were nice, and the personel was 5 stars!
