Chateau Loucen Garden Retreat

Pros: The room/theme of the room and the living space were amazing, very high ceiling, chandeliers, bathtub, curtains.... awesome experience.

Cons: Breakafast wasn't bad but selection of food was small. It's however, not something that would make our experience worse.

Pros: Amazing chateau apartments, very beautiful and cosy. The breakfast is served in another building (in the hotel) just a minute away, and it's really good. There are a couple of restaurants in the area, also, one just 5 minutes away from the castle, as well as a bus stop and a supermarket.

Cons: WiFi connection wasn't the best. I worked during the day and had to use my phone data as the signal was unreliable.

Pros: Lovely spacious room. Gorgeous decor. Amazing bed, comfortable and soft sheets and nice pillows. Heavy curtains. Good breakfast. Helpful staff.

Cons: Floorboards very creaky. Only sparkling water available. Had to book time in pool.

Pros: Sleeping in a castle suite is an experience to do at least once in a lifetime. The room makes you feel like living a couple of century back, but with a modern bathroom with a super shower! The castle park is amazing, you can walk for hours in the nature or just chill out sitting on the armchairs next to the fountain. Nice spa with a heated swimming pool, steam and dry sauna.

Cons: At breakfast no pastry choice, I would have liked at least some croissants. At dinner after finishing our meal, we couldn't order the dessert because kitchen was already closed. It would be a good habit to inform the guests about last kitchen orders, especially for desserts.

overall, it was very nice

Pros: Liked the suite, very nice, spacious, the location and the surroundings. It is great to walk around and I imagine in summer it is even nicer. We also enjoyed the pool and sauna. When it comes to restaurants we were very happy with the restaurant in the village, 4 min away from the Chateau, very good prices and great food, even though the establishment might be a bit outdated. Definitely worth its google rating.

Cons: One thing which disappointed us was breakfast on Sunday. We arrived at 9:20 and already some dishes were out and never replaced (boiled eggs, pancakes, ham). Saturday was great as we arrived a bit earlier, however, we expected the same experience on Sunday.

The accommodation fully met my expectations

Pros: Accommodation in the beautiful Prince's Suite in th old castle.Magical quiet environment with perfect accessories. Trips to the surroundings with rich history - Jabkenice, Stara Boleslav, Brandys, Kosmonosy- Loreta, Venice nad Jizerou...

Cons: The Prince's Suite is in the castle outside the hotel. Please ask at reception for access to the castle courtyard to unload luggage. Otherwise, you will have to carry your suitcases up the outside (and interior) stairs to a level above the roof of the hotel.

Krásný zámecký pobyt

Pros: Pobyt byl dárek k narozeninám. Tímto bychom chtěli poděkovat i za milou pozornost. Apartmán Waldstein je prostorný, krásně zámecky zařízený a je modrý, naše oblíbená barva. Snídaně byla v pořádku, Personál příjemný. Prohlídka parku a zámku byly vyborné zpestření pobytu. Rádi bychom se určitě vrátili i v teplejším období, abychom mohli využít i bazén. Příjemné bylo i setkání s místním mourovatým kocourkem na nádvoří.

Cons: Nejsme zastánci přetopených prostor, ale v zimním období jsou pokoje chladnější a možnost vytápění pouze v ložnici. Koupelna se moc neohřála. V ložnici bychom uvítali teplejší přikrývky (a určitě v lepším stavu, než byly), museli jsme spát pouze pod jednou slabou dekou, druhá byla nepoužitelná.

Cons: Moc krátký pobyt 😀

Pros: Krásné ubytování v Domečku knížete Alexandra. Nádherný výhled z okna v obývacím pokoji umocněný osvíceným parkem. Skvělá večeře i snídaně formou bufetu. Velký výběr, výborné jídlo. Skvělý personál.

A magical stay in the cottage

Pros: We stayed in the cottage which is simply stunning, an absolute treat, the pictures don't nearly do it justice. Very memorable.

Cons: If anything it was too warm, but in mid winter that wasn't a huge concern.
