The best Solo Traveller Option in Prague

Pros: So much effort was put into planning several activities every day, and you never got bored. Everyone was very welcoming, and we were given a short tour of the hostel with a welcome beer. I can really recommend this hostel to anyone traveling alone!

Cons: Unfortunately, there is only one toilet and shower for eight beds. The nearest toilet is downstairs, but it closes at midnight. Unfortunately, our window was slightly drafty, which meant that it was quite cold and a bit noisy in our room. I reported this and everything was fine, but the next day it was the same again.

Pros: Staff & other guests were very friendly which is great for a solo traveller. The activities ran daily are also great to meet people & see Prague. The quirky names for the rooms & the place in generally added to the fun vibe.

Cons: The amenities could have been slightly nicer but they do the job fine & add a vibe to the place.

Best 2 days of my entire Europe trip

Pros: I had such an incredible time at Madhouse that words hardly do it justice. The crew is truly next-level — Zoe, the absolute rockstar, was always around with quick help and the best vibes. And Hannah, the most versatile and humble person I’ve met: from planning events and activities to cooking up amazing food, she does it all effortlessly. I was there during Halloween, and it was honestly one of the most fun nights of my trip. Madhouse made my Prague experience unforgettable. Can’t wait to see you all again soon — and I’d be more than happy to host you when you visit India! 🇮🇳✨

Cons: Everything is great, no complaints.

Excellent location , cool hostel with pub crawl every night !

Pros: Excellent location, great team of volunteers who take you out to pub crawls every night. Family dinner in evening prepared by staff, cool way to meet fellow travellers. Range of activities planed daily and put up on the notice board. Free coffee and cereal available in kitchen. Washroom en-suite but just one for 14 people.

Cons: Bit pricy as compared to other hostels Around 50 euro a night

Best city break ever.

Pros: The madhouse is an amazing hostel, with the most friendly people, great food and activities. Our stay was amazing with beautiful views of the city and great nights out with the staff and fellow traveler’s. Was a 10/10 for my first hostel experience, and will definitely be back.

This was my first ever solo trip and based on reviews online I picked this hostel, and I couldn’t have picked a better p

Pros: The property was exceptionally clean everyday, the cleaners done an amazing job. Plus, the location of it although being slightly far out from Vaclav airport, it is in the middle of the old town and once you get there, you can walk pretty much everywhere you would like to within a 20 minute range.

Cons: The only thing about the property that was a bit of a downer was that the small black fans above each persons bed wasn’t working for many of us. However, the MadHouse fixed this issue by providing much bigger fans to sit in the corner of each room to keep us cool anyway.

Pros: Amazing volenteers, fun activities. Allround great!
