Penzion U Adama

Well placed, cosy and charming. Offers exceptional value, especially in the off season.

Pros: This was our second time staying at Penzion U Adama, and we will definitely be staying again. The location is perfect, quiet and with good views of the castle. Breakfast is great and totally outstripped our expectations, especially at the off-season price point. Rooms are on the smaller side, but perfectly clean, well-equipped and warm. The staff are wonderfully accommodating and kind.

Cons: Honestly, I can't think of anything.

Pros: Good location right below castle. Could see it from our window. Comfortable bed and good bathroom. Room was very clean. Our host didn't speak English well but we managed to communicate with google translate. He was very helpful.. Great buffet style breakfast with hot and cold options. A good variety of food and a real coffee machine.

Cons: The stairs and door to all rooms were right next to our room so it was a bit noisy with other guests coming and going . We were there mid week in December and a few places were open during the day but nothing was open at night for food which would have been nice to know beforehand. Either have a big lunch or bring food if you're staying in the off season. Not the fault of Adama of course but it wound have been good to have been warned.

Pros: The room is simply amazing! You have tons of space, the bathroom is very clean. And the view are PERFECT!! You can sleep looking at the castle.

Friendly hosts made us feel welcome. The stay was comfortable and enough for our needs.

Pros: We were not able to have the breakfast on site because it started at 8 am and we had to leave early. However, they had kindly made us a pack of rolls, jams and spreads to take with us in the morning.

Cons: The bed was a bit small and couldn't be separated into two.

Clean, great staff and great value.

Pros: Very clean and well kept, the staff are so friendly and go out there way to help you out. The breakfast was delicious and local produce. It was a fantastic stay and we would go back again and stay for longer,

Cons: The only issue we had was the sat nav and Google maps gave us the address as a pedestrian zone and to park then walk there. However you can actually drive to the small car park at the place.

Pros: It is the most charming guesthouse located at the base of a Castle. Greeted with complimentary glass of wine. The room was clean, comfortable and incredibly cute. The restaurant has great food and the pation offers spectacular castle views. While everything was great is was truly the staff who made this experience so great. Very friendly and helpful.
