River hotel KÖNIGSTEIN

Charming and unique gem, perfectly located in Prague.

Pros: Such a charming hotel in a really excellent location. You can get to the business district, the old town, the castle, really anywhere within a very short walk. It’s also only a short walk from a metro station which can connect to the airport. The decor is lovely and reminiscent of a great era, and although the beds are only singles and there are some quirks, this is all because of the unique boat element. I can see why guests would be surprised if they had not properly read what this hotel is like, however make sure you’re aware it’s a boat, and you won’t be disappointed. Good breakfast as well. Staff were amazingly helpful and cheerful. The room was a bit warm but it was December so by the time it got to nighttime you were thankful of it. Very little to fault.

Cons: Heating controls in the room didn’t seem like they worked, but the temperature was fine. Shower had a tendency to overflow due to drainage but wasn’t an issue. Toilets are loud because it’s a boat, but they never woke me up

Pros: Beautiful location, excellent breakfast and staff very helpful.

Cons: Beds are not very comfortable.

Awesome experience

Pros: This hotel meets whatever you expect. Great experience. 10 min walk from old city square. All essentials are available. Awesome and helpful staff. Good price. After checkout, they let us leave our luggage for the whole day - our bus was pretty late at night. We spend the evening in the bar until our departure. I really recommend this place to everyone.

Great central location.

Pros: Great location nice and quiet out of the main hustle and bustle but not far to centre. Great breakfast super strong coffee. Parking close by.

Cons: A little difficult to drive to the hotel as there were a lot of people on the waterfront queuing for boat rides. Would have been easier to park first then walk to hotel.

Pros: Perfect location and fantastic service from start to finish. The hotel itself was beautifully designed, with a stylish interior enhanced by numerous pieces of art. Every member of the team was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide selection that met all our needs each morning.

Pros: Easily accessible and close to the centre. I love the experience of the botel. Staff was incredibly helpful and lovely.

A vintage Oriental Express on water

Pros: The location is perfect (walking distance to most of the popular tourist spots, restaurants and the main shopping street)! The breakfast is tasty with diverse and fresh asortment! The staff is nice and supportive! The hotel interiour has a unique vintage style.

Cons: The only thing I didn't like is the local drinking water. It has some wierd taste. And a warning for the tall people - the sailing of the rooms is quite low. This can be a bit uncomfortable. :)

Pros: The location was excellent and the breakfast was brilliant!

Pros: Staff were kind and helpful. They kindly moved my room from the lower floor to above as I could not do those narrow stairs due to my knees. So thank you very much

Cons: No snacks at the bar. We arrived 7pm tired and would have liked just a beer and a snack but had to go looking for a restaurant - which was 10 mins away.
