As a passing-by traveller staying only a single night it was a great value for money.

Pros: The hotel building is attached to an Ice rink and is proabbly mainly used by people who come here for sport. The room was nice and clean and equipped with copious amount electric sockets, that we found very useful to charge all our equipment. The Velkopopovicky Kozel brewery is located right the next door and there is also a very good restaurant called Kozlovna with delicious food and fantastic beer. We were allowed to park our motorcycles right at the entrance monitored by surveillance cameras.

Cons: Maybe check-out till 11:00 would be more appreciated than till 10:00.

Nice hotel with top staff

Pros: The hotel is quite near the highway so a good stop during a travel, the room was confortable with nice bed, the staff was friendly and professional especially Marketa that was super and really helpfull, breakfast was ok.

Cons: The near restaurant have not a good chef, he sell me a rumpsteak when i ordered a ribeye with prices totally different, when i go back to tell him he didnt refund me and offered me a free lunch tha i didnt accept, he was an arrogant clown.

Great place to stop

Pros: Great reception staff, very helpful and open! Maybe Hotel u Ledu (Hotel near Ice) doesn't look impresive from outside, but the rooms are perfect and clean, have comfortable beds. They found a secure place to store our bikes for the night (big thanks for that)! There are two great restaurants nearby (from the same owner?)... Velkopopovická Kozlovna is superb! Hotel u Ledu is a perfect spot to visit the brewery and for a short stop on a longer route!
